Direction Up will offer each player the opportunity to participate in interactive drills and training techniques designed to enhance and develop fundamental defensive and offensive skills. It is imperative in the summer that young athletes focus on improving their skills or for beginners to be introduced to the game of basketball. Our trained staff of professionals will offer results-driven techniques focused specifically on shooting, defensive skills, and passing, along with providing general knowledge in the game of basketball. Founded in 2015, Direction Up is dedicated to transforming the lives of youth, “one bounce at a time”. Our mission is to encourage, empower and motivate youth from all walks of life to aim higher in every aspect of life. We want to remind youth that in everything, there is a choice. They can choose to respond negatively to circumstances, or they can choose to respond positively. Direction Up envisions a world with our youth making a choice to tap into the greatness that is already instilled in them. Participants are required to bring a water bottle.
