Learn about the fastest sport on two feet! Lacrosse is America’s oldest sport, with roots to Native American tribes dating back to 1100 AD. Lacrosse is an OHSAA sanctioned, spring sport, and is among the fastest growing, most popular sports in the U.S. This an instructional camp that focuses on basic skills, rules of the game, general concepts, and player safety. The clinic will be led by the coaches of the Columbus Academy Varsity and Middle School programs, along with current Varsity team members and guest coaches. It is preferred that players provide their own equipment; however, some equipment may possibly be provided if the staff is notified in advance, and the equipment is available. Participants are required to bring a water bottle.
