Calling all fans of museums -- history museums, science museums, art museums, all museums! Do you love museums … & are you ready to make your own? Over the course of five days, we’ll build our own museum from start to finish … with a museum opening event and showcase on our final day of camp! You pick the topic – last year we had museums on the art of the golf caddy, the history of state seals, and an art museum, to name just a few! Along the way, we’ll learn how to pick an exhibit’s theme, how to ethically collect & display objects to illustrate that theme, how to design an exhibit layout & text, and how to invite the public in with marketing materials, events, & even custom swag! No previous museum experience needed … just bring an interest or a hobby, your curiosity, and we’ll take it from there! See you at the museum … our museum!
