What is it that makes the worlds of fantasy and science fiction, superheroes and role-playing games so captivating? In this camp, we’re going to examine the methods in which authors build fictional worlds and then build our own worlds together. We’ll look at the ways history, culture, ecology, geography, geology, and other sciences overlap and interact with storytelling and writing and think about how we can use them to tell our own stories. Over the course of the week, you’ll build out worlds of your own choosing in an exciting and collaborative process, ready to share and explore.
