If you want to sing, dance, design costumes and set pieces, and become a stage star, Broadway Bootcamp is the place for you! In the course of a week, students will learn three songs from a popular Broadway show. This season will be Annie Jr.! On the first day of camp, we will go over a song and a small monologue and hold BLIND auditions later that morning. Our days will begin by singing through our music and learning lines. Then we will begin learning choreography to go along with the music. We will play fun theater games such as ZIP ZAP ZOP. Campers get to partake in theater Bingo and trivia at the end of the week. Mid-week we will design a Broadway Bootcamp t-shirt on a white tee with fabric markers! All of this will be done in preparation for a virtual performance to be shared in the weekly showcase. We hope to see you in Broadway Bootcamp this summer! Students should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes appropriate for moving and dancing. No flip flops.
